I hate spiders, always have. Dunno why. When I was a young lad the American Arachnid Association used to hold their annual convention in my home town. Worse than Shriners those eight legged limpdicks were. Being much friskier in my youth I used to organize and visit Seal Team Six type raids upon those conventions. Did it three years runnin, killed a lot of spiders in those years. Matter of fact, killed so many of em the AAA membership dwindled dramatically and they went underground. Haven't heard of em since. That's how much I hate spiders. Just sharing.

Anyhow, movin on. Last night after doing the dailies (as an aside the only thing good about the Molten Front for me is when those packs of evil little bastards in Widows Clutch swarm me and I drop an explosive trap and watch them burn. Gives me a disturbing amount of satisfaction)  I decide to take a wander over to Fireplume to see if I can snag that metal crab-he ain't jack compared to Skarr but I want him as well. So after the run round The Furnace I'm parked on my Cobalt Talbuk, lookin stylish, making sure I have all the goodies I'll need in case Karkin is around-last time I forgot my corehound, and Kirix spawns right in my face. I mean kissin close.. with tongue. That was so cool. I've never seen a rare spawn before, well excluding intelligent druids loggin on and they're certainly rare.

Anyhow, as it's materializing NPC goes off scaring the crap out of me and then there Kirix was. Never met this boy before. I'm getting ready for the usual meet up with the spirit healer as I've nowhere to go when Kirix takes off in the other direction. I figure he recognized me and aware of my awesomeness decided discretion was the better part of valor. Either that or he spawned with his spidey ass towards me. Mount up and off I go, following behind him- I'm watching the lil red dot as we're trotting along and damn, he's already heading back my way. That is one fast movin spider. Course eight legs and such. No way I'm turning back so I dismount and camo. He goes right on by me-at times it pays to be short. I commence riding to that area where you do the rock hop of doom to get to Fireplume. I notice the lil red dot is back on my ass again and moving a lot faster than I am. So I'm cussin at the Talbuk to hurry the hell up. I didn't kill all those ogres and gather all those warbeads for kicks. The Talbuk must've realized he was one step away from the Stormwind Glue Factory because we made it.

Now while I'm parked safely out of range , munchin a Basilisk Liverdog and rearranging some key-binds a Tauren DK lands on the ledge from Fireplume and he is right in Kirixs' run. Being a DK, naturally he attacks it. Seeing a DK whacked that fast was worth the price of admission alone. Almost gave Kirix a pass on the tame but I figure anything that whacks a DK that fast is worth havin.

Over the past week or so I've read, okay memorized Garwulfs taming guides on these spiders. However being addle-minded I alt-tab and get a refresher. So I get in what I think is the right place so when I pop disengage I don't plummet off the cliff to my death and get ready for greenie. Kirix comes round the bend, I pop off a shot to aggro him and get ready to eat the 1st attack. Now that bouncy bounce thing Kirix does is pretty damn funky. So funky in fact that while I'm still admiring it mid-air after the punt I forget to disengage. So that was that-one dead dwarf.

I'm rushing back and of course once I rez I have to wait for AH to come off cooldown. Long few minutes.

Okay, round two and I gotta admit, I am pulling this thing off ridiculously well. Good thing you don't have time to think on this tame because I'd have been so busy congratulating myself I would've f****d up for sure. I eat the 1st attack, hit disengage on the punt , fire off a concussive while airborne then hit Garwulf's macro when I land and I get the bad boy  

Even with it all going smooth, it was still touch n go as I watched my HP's drop at an alarming rate during the tame but if you haven't tried this tame, do. It's the most fun I've had doing one since I can recall.

Now I read a lot, more than I should about this game but for me the Lodge is the place. It seems to always start with Anj and then Garwulf too will write up an understandable guide-after he's done it himself  and without that input there is absolutely no way I'd ever figure this stuff out. I don't know how some players figure out all of this WoW stuff but please, for the sake of this dwarf and the children keep doing it and to write it in a way that people can understand it, that's rare and the Lodge has that.

Now if any of you can help me in all the other areas of my huntering, that would be truly impressive. Nah, nevermind, it ain't doable.

Oh yeah, I also snagged this one later on. *yawn* Course without the input, I'd have been screwed
