Hi !
I have just joined huntsmanlodge and first i have to say that i can see very much interesting and usefull advices arround here,so let me start with asking you do you use misdirection (with that glyph)?
Tbh i didnt use it but I encountered hunter who does..and he was misdirectioning me to his pet and i found myself targeting his pet instead of him all the time.I am going to try that and just wanna see what you guys/girls think off that ?

As far as I am aware, Misdirect only works in PvE. Maybe there is some other reason you were targeting his pet? If Misdirect was indeed doing what you say you experienced, it is a new one on me and I’ve been playing a Hunter since the start of WoW.

I havent got time to try it yet but i will.I cant get any other reason why was i targeting that pet all over again.I switch to hunter and few sec. after i was on pet again(?).And i spoke to friend of mine yesterday who plays hunter too and he had same expiriance but in duel.When i try that glyph of misdirection ill let you know does it really work.
Can maybe raoar or some other kind of pets taunt do that?
I forgot to say that i had this situation in battleground few days ago.

Make sure your target bind in the UI is set to ‘Target Nearest Enemy Player’ for PvP. The default is “Target Nearest Enemy” That might be causing your problem. You’ll automatically target the nearest hostile. Happened to me a few times when switching from PvE to PvP and forgetting to reset it.
Misdirection does nothing in PvP.
