I'm on the Argent Dawn server and when I'm in battlegrounds, Horde loses a lot. The thing is, I recently switched my Ret Paladin to Alliance just for giggles and when I'm in bgs then the Alliance lose a lot. Why is it when I'm on my Hunter (Horde) I don't face these losing Alliance teams?
Well the only thing that remains constant in all this is you. So I would have to assume...
Just kidding 😉 I've had a bad problem with winning bgs lately too, though I don't have an alliance character. When I didn't need to farm honor, I would win almost every game. Now I'm losing most of mine - and I need to farm honor for the "vicious 1.5" gear so I don't have a disadvantage in Arena, so I should really be spending more time doing Arena to get my rating up but no, I only cap (and don't even get me started with rated bgs) and *try* to farm honor.
Just the whole change to "1.5" honor gear + the split between arena/rbg rating (although apparently if you're past 1650 it doesn't matter and you don't have to do rateds) has just spoiled my mood with bgs as well as the hunter changes to pet stance (and I'm still having grumbles against focus), not being able to use a mere 5 second deterrence while carrying flags, having you pet stay out while mounted which TOTALLY screws up some times when you're trying to attack someone and you're like WTF where is my pet?! -- Just makes me not want to play wow anymore, so I think I'm going to throw in the towel - I had fun though and will continue to read the blog because I enjoy it. Another annoying this is I made a site 
vp.com to basically link to articles/videos relating to just BM PVP so BM PVP'ers had easy access to all information relating to BM PVP, like a day or two before I found out about the gear change.

I often think of throwing in the towel as well. At least when it comes to battlegrounds/pvp. I still enjoy PvE content, but the OP classes take the fun out of PvPing for me. It's no fun being constantly stunned and made into a grease spot by some Warrior who lives and breathes arena. (Not that there is anything wrong with that people enjoy arena.)
HOWEVER, there are points in PvPing where I have fun yet, so I keep going back. Teaming with some guildies or running into the occasional pick up group that is good makes me rethink about quitting. Besides, I still haven't gotten Exalted with Warsong Outriders yet. Stupid Horde rarely wins WSG where I'm at. 
I find that it's just the luck of the draw whether you get a good group or a meh one. If it's a good one, you can look forward to some decent honor, if it's a meh one, only a little.
I've had days of win after win after win, and days of loss after loss after loss. They tend to balance themselves out.
I just try to concentrate on what I'm doing, and think, "Who cares about the result?!" When you care too much about results in pugs, you get grey hair and tend to spill coffee on your keyboard!
I was in one today where the guy who came second in kill counts was bragging he was carrying everyone else. I couldn't help myself and had to reply that it was easy to top the count when you arrive at a fight late and finish off the enemy. The pally/warrior/druid who had been fighting him for the last 2 minutes deserves the credit, not the johnny come lately who is lucky enough to score the finishing blow.
He was quiet after that.
My advice is to just look to improve your own game by keeping on the lookout for opportunity. I find that by concentrating on just two things, I tend to have a good time, regardless of the result…. protecting our own flag carrier and chase theirs if it's a flag game, and lending support where there is a fight on in others.
