ok another quick question for all. i have toyed with the idea of using the curse client but when doing searches about it i have read some very negative things about this updater. the most disturbing thing read is players getting their accounts on WoW hacked or stolen. it seems to me that curse is big enough to not be in the business of stealing but i am always so very cautious on what i install on my pc. so what does everyone think about it and have they had any issues?

I have Curse Premium, if that tells you anything, I also run an authenticator on my WoW account.
The problem isn't so much the client itself, as it is the fact that like any Download management program, if it can be made to deliver a keylogger or something, someone will figure out how to piggy back one onto an addon.
A friend and I used curse client for awhile, right after wotlk release in fact, and shortly after both of our accounts had been hacked. Keep in mind this was before either of us got authenticators, which we both have now, and his wife - who swears by curse client - hasn't ever had an issue with her account being compromised. How does this help you? It doesn't, lol, not really except to make the point that there is no definite answer. Personally I like curse client - but I wouldn't use it without an authenticator to add that little extra security.
