Heya folks – now that I have finally tamed Krush and (for the moment at least) achieved my “wish list” top 5. I was wondering what pets you folks have in your first 5 slots? Or who you want for your 5?
For me:
Terropene – Turtle (tank)
Lord Kri – Silithid (Stam buff)
Chromaggus – Corehound (Hero)
Krush – Devilsuar (Crit)
Loque – Spirit Beast (agi/str)

This question may be better suited (certainly more interesting) for BM Hunters, but I'll chime in anyway 'cause that's how I roll 
I approach mine from a mostly SV DPS raiding standpoint:
cat (Pogeyan, only rare among the bunch)
wolf
bir of prey
ravager
turtle (in case of emergency )
Like I said, kinda boring, lol. Sometimes I'll swap in a hyena or crab. I still want Terropene, but well, you know how that goes.

I have Fester out most of the time when soloing or doing instances/raids. Sometimes I bring out Pox if there is another Hunter in the group with a cat out. Shelob is my primary PvP pet unless I run into a Warrior or Rogue or DK that decides it there mission in the battleground to kill me as many times as possible, then I bring out Varon for his disarm. Tank comes out for the harder solo stuff, like Problim in Tol Barad.

I play Survi most of the time, but I roll BM for PvP (or did before I haven't had time to)
1. Saleen – oldest Friend Runt Nightsaber from Draenei starting area.

Greenbean – Green and Orange striped cat from Fellwood
Sebastian – white leopard from clicking trinkets and statues somewhere along the way.
Snitpooter – Red Wolf
Beauford – Bat
If I'm not going to do anything but farm I'll grab one of the Devilsaurs or the core hound out of the stable so they get a little excercise but none of them are leveled.
Leaving the 5th spot open in case Samabas decides to ever show up.

I'm in love with my Ghostcrawler, the more I play with him, the more I like him.
Named him “Jacques” the aquarium cleaner French fellow from Pixar's Nemo.
Because it really cleans around 
If only I could call him out of BM he would be with me always.
I tamed all the new cata rares and coolest looking pets, but this one is really special for me;
-He really gets invisible 100% sometimes, that I need to pick him from the nameplate to confirm if he's beside me.
-He's small, fast, and hardly detectible.
-He comes out of nowhere with his stealthy charge, followed by his pin ability, and intimidate and after that point, all you need to do is throw a few concussive shots, while he chews those beloved plate wearers.
Edit: He thinks he's a cat, they haven't assigned a unique sound for him :/

Nice stables you guys! Here are mine, pretty boring, but I'm in BM usually so:
1. Genbu (Terrorpene)
2. Barclay (Sambas)
3. Spirit Beast (I keep a healthy rotation between my SB's because I love them all, I usually have a SB at my side, so they are considered my main, and since I have them all I like to keep a healthy rotation, but I like Karoma and Skoll the best)
4. Vacant (looking for a god PvP pet, thinking a spider or a dog, not sure though)
5. Vacant (looking for a good rare wolf to hang out with)
Like I said, pretty boring right now, but I haven't pet hunted in a while, but all this talk is making me want to that's for sure!

hahaha i love mine too. I named him Greg. Like Jacques, not many get the reference, amazingly enough.

Nope, my internet went down again just before 8pm server. We (Anasazi) were just getting ready to take back TB, run BH, then do some ICC10 achieves before starting Yogg around 11pm server. I lost my connection @ 7:45pm and was never able to log back on. I've not talked to anyone from my guild today so I don't know what they did beyond running some BC Heroics for Guild Achieves.
I don't think Yogg actually happened, but I wont know for sure until tonight.
