A new patch hit the PTR early this morning and with it comes some news that most of us World of Warcraft players have been waiting to hear for years. Yes, you will be able to dye your armor in 4.1. In addition to a couple pieces of new 5-man gear, we've datamined several brand new items called Concentrated Dyes as well as an uncategorized spell called Apply Dye. Additionally, after hopping on the PTR to check it out, we can confirm that this is a more potent dye that lets players tint their armor to preferred shades.

This is the coolest thing I've heard about the game since I heard it has the hunter class. =)
Yeah we won't get carried away coloring our armor to match particular pets now, will we. I mean, I will but you all seem to have far more restraint than I do.

I'm excited - purple and green, head to toe. I don't care how much it costs to get the dye. If I have to start blackmailing people I know in guild to get gold to cover it so be it.

On a serious note, Drrum is the be-all and end-all of armor sets collections. This gal has absolutely no need for dyes!
Well they did say it was a possibility, it would just require a lot more dev work which they aren't focused on. I reckon put a hold on the new gen mmo and put the dev teams on this 😛

They actually got me with it to begin with, I was already plotting how I was gonna camp the vendor.
