I was wondering if anyone can explain to me what the meteor looking graphic is telling me. It comes and goes seemingly of it's own accord so I have no idea what it's for.
The graphic I mean has a reddish meteor looking ball at the top, and a goldish tail fanning wider the lower it gets. It displays both sides of my character.
From that description, I would say it's the Blizz Focus Fire graphic.

It's probably your Focus-Fire full stack proc. Each spec has one in-game power aura currently...
Beast Mastery - Focus Fire
Marksmanship - Master Marksman
Survival - Lock and Load
It's gotta be Focus-Fire, because it wouldn't show you the one for L'n'L if you're in your BM spec. When it comes up, see if your Focus-Fire spell icon is glowing.
I originally thought it might be focus fire. I have focus fire on all my shot macros, so it should trip on my next shot, even though the graphic tends to linger, I'm sure it gets off.
Any ideas on what the Christmas decoration over my head might be? I had been thinking that it was a Kill Shot available graphic, but the graphic I made comes up and the Blizz one doesn't, so I don't think that's it.

I checked the FF graphic, which is why I edited my post to say that's not it. FF has a clutch of yellow arrows at top, with red curved fans underneath, showing up on both sides of the character, but nothing overhead. *puzzled*

Also, occasionally I get a couple of red curved lines above my head – it seems to be when getting stuck in with several mobs. I'm not sure what this is, but it might be related to the Killing Spree proc, for which I get a green text message.
Another edit: not Killing Spree. I got that name from my (now resting) rogue. Killing sumtin' or other... ummm... oh yes, Streak!
Yeah, a screenshot would be helpful if you could link one.
Could also be proc from a trinket you are wearing, I know I have the twilight scale from Ruby Sanctum, and when it procs it's this little stone over my head that sorta looks like a guy screaming lol.
So possibly a trinket proc?
