Most of the time Dusky and DêâthHôwl I keep active with one spirit beast. The others I rotate depending on what I'm doing and my mood. Jádefáng got his first taste of npc blood last night defending a FTH run in SW, he got to kill another Jadefang pet. Nothing rare or unique about Adalicia, but she got me from 60 to 85, so she won't be abandoned.

That tame TORTURED me for weeks, even after hitting 85 because that first boss is SUCH a pain between bugging out and losing control of him. Once you're past him, though, its a breeze to the big guy. Hang in there! He is sooooooo worth it!
