Obtaining Pets from "Alliance" starter areas

I'm a level 27 troll hunter dying to get a Ravager on Azuremyst island. The boat dock at Auberdeen was destroyed so those boats no longer run. found that out after running all the way thru Ashenvale. A level 85 priest tried to help me water walk there last night from Blackfathom deeps but you hit the fatigue death not too far out. Is it possible for me to create an alliance Alt hunteron my son's seperate WOW account, have him capture a ravager and then sell it to my hunter troll via a trade or the Auction house? Let me know if anyone has any experience with doing this. Thanks Grimreaver
