In looking over our raid comp, I can see that this bleed effect would help quite a bit. However I ran Shadowfang Keep the other night after taming one (colour changer I might add) Yet Tendon rip would not proc on any body in the instance, I could get it to work on a training dummy though.Â

Will it only work on certain NPCs?

Was there a kitty druid or rogue in the group? they have abilities that over ride the tendon rip.

No, tried it again in ZG last night, same result

Comp was:
DK (frost IIRC)Â
Priest (shadow)
Hunter (SV)Â
Druid (bear tank)
Pally (heal)
After checking, Druids use http://www.wowhead.com/spell=33876 in both cat and bear form. My guess is that you've just had a druid or rogue in your group while running stuff. I ran ZG and ZA last night with my hyena and not druid or rogue in the group and it worked fine for me.
