(It goes without saying that there are evil people out to kill or to prevent taming Deth. I’ve seen several ugly situations so hopefully, you’ll not get to experience them…)

Jazzy, some quick tips. Don't forget to:
- Dismiss your pet when Deth'tilac's health is around 8 million; many hunters including myself forgot to Dismiss and were wondering why Tame Pet won't work :). If the pet's dead it will take a lot of time to rez and dismiss and *will* throw you off your rhythm.
- get aggro before taming. Those who help out usually have aggro on them which prevents your taming (so they have to Feign Death and keep their distance to prevent Deth Strikes on them (major reason why Deth'tilac dies)).
- I read Gar's guide numerous times and even searched for YouTube videos.

OMG every hunter should have an Anj in their back pocket.....so far he's rocked it with three Cata pets now in my stable...Solix, Deth, and Banth.....He can life ya up trees, steer you through hazy nonvisible caverns and keep ya hanging on cliffs when all else including your health fails! Thank you and many huge hugs to you Anj...you are totally invincible and you rock! And yes.....I did name it snukkums and yes I am STILL shaking.......the chair is in pieces and Shadow is now snoring........go to bed Anj! A friend tamed that particular spider...me..a fire mage..a hunter and two druids helped her tame that...We didnt have the guide to help...she saw it..went "OMG WANT" and proceeded to try to tame it...she got one shotted....but with the help of a few friends...she got Deth'tilac! Later, after he got Deth'tilac we went in search of a guide. Heh.

That's the DTTMA (Dang the Taming Manual Approach). I think all hunters have done that in one way or the other, with interesting results too.
