I'm 67 and trying to get the ironman achievement but it's sooo hard. I managed to score all 3 flags in one game but was nuked dead through the walls in my base by 2 camping warlocks that can somehow nuke people without a line of sight as I almost scored the last flag. I was almost there and I hadn't died at all but I had already blown all my cooldowns just make it out of their base. Oh well, I guess there's always a next time. Just venting here!
I am 80, usually have a great set of guild members with me, and still don't have it.
Another guild hunter had it at like level 22. The kid is insanely good at PVP.
Pretty much the same situation as Niika for me. I keep going in with guildies and still haven't gotten it. On the other hand though, I managed to get it on my Retribution Paladin, while on my own.
but i was sooooo close!! I was going up the ramp in our base with the last flag and no deaths and then BOOOMMMMMM! I had to pause for a minute to think about what had just happened. My wife said that my face looked as if a little life had escaped from within! lol. I'm getting there though. I managed to get all three flags anyways without anyone's help and only 1 death. Gotta love Deterrence with a nice frost trap a 180 degree turn and disengage along with Intimidation if needed. Next time I do WG I'll ask the guys for help and see if anyone is willing to stick with me. If not then I'll just keep on trying.
I actually got it today, but it took a few good pocket healers and an amazing Druid to help me. I litterally hid on top of our base as the druid ran it.. jumped down .. he dropped the flag, rinse and repeat. Might be cheating, but I got it.
