Im just looking for some advice from more exp players. If u dont mind take a look at my toon and tell me where i need improvement. My primary pet is a wolf and my bg pet is a chimaera. Im just looking to up my game a bit. My gear will have to do now as i dont have a ton of gold and this is my main. I would like to know what i could do to improve dps in dungeons and bg. I dont use macros at all, like i said im a part time player and dont really know how to set them up yet. I only use them to spam my rare pet finds.
My rotation in dungeons is autoshot,hunters mark, send pet, serp sting, kill command maybe a arcane or two and by then focus fure has proced or im hitting steady shot to recoup focus. I dont use bestial wrath much accept on bosses. Should i been using this more on general trash, I rarely use mulit shot as well. Any suggestions are very welcome but please dont say get new gear....lol i have what i have from doing alot of dungeons and im just starting to bg with him. The gear will come i guess.

Your gear and talent spec(s) look to be headed in the right direction. I'm thinking you just need to tweak your rotation(s) a bit. You are dual spec'd but give BM as your example so I'm assuming that's what your primarily run in. My rotation suggestions are the following:
Beastmaster: Hunter's Mark>pet>serpent sting>kill command>arcane>steady shot x 2...repeat. You may need to add in a third steady shot. Do this till you acquire cobra shot. After getting cobra, drop steady from your rotation all together. Till you get cobra, make sure you refresh serpent sting on longer fights. Some of our BM Hunters on here may have changes to this or have more to add. BM is just a secondary spec I "play" with.
Marksmanship: Hunter's Mark>Serpent Sting>Chimera Shot>Arcane Shot>Steady Shot x2....repeat from Chimera. You want to always shoot Steady Shots in pairs with MM to keep the haste buff up. Throw the free Aimed Shot in when it procs. You don't want to touch Cobra Shot in this spec. You get much better damage from Steady.
Looking further at your character I see you have no glyphs. I would make that a primary goal.Get the following for BM when you can:
(1) Kill Command
(2) Bestial Wrath
(3) Serpent Sting
(4) Kill Shot
(5) Mending
Fill in the rest with what looks good.
I think Takass got you started in the right direction. I think you'll benefit a lot from getting your head around macros. They really give your play another dimension in efficiency. I would recommend that for now you go to the Macros guide Gar has written and simply cut and paste them into your macro dialog. They you can either set your action bars up for clicking or keybinding and enjoy the benefits of the macros.
Ultimately you will want to look toward keybinding your shots and defensive actions, but for now, take one thing at a time.
The good thing about WoW, is it isn't going anywhere, so you have plenty of time to get accustomed to new ways of doing things. Don't worry about gearing at all, other than having a plan in the back of your mind so you have an idea about what you want.

Thank you very much. Im going to apply this to my lower level bg hunter too. im in my mid 40s on that toon and i am bm/sv. At this level is it better to go to bm for bg or keep doing sv for bg?
If you are a serious BGer, set up your gear for BG... stack stamina and I have more fun in SV than I did in BM. I thought BM lacked enough burst damage, but I'm not a good PVPer, regardless of how much I enjoy it. Unless you want to run two sets of gear (one for BM and one for SV) pick whether you want to level (BM) or BG (SV) as a priority. If you reforge your blues, both specs have different needs, hence I suggest you make a choice.
Since you are starting to PVP, this is a macro you'll want.

In addition to your PVP trinket, this is pretty necessary and always useful. If you have a friendly target moused over (and they're being CC'd), and hit this macro, your pet will free himself and them, otherwise, if you hit this macro, your pet will free itself and you. Master's Call is one of the strongest abilities you have in PVP, so don't forget to use it.
