Hey guys since we got a few months for cata i didnt wanted to go onto hardcore arena and hardcore farming or raiding although i do raid but thats just for achievments, but lately i wanted to hafe some fun with my spirit beast which i got lately so i got back in bm for pvp and i gotta say bm pwnzzzz i used to be as a bm for arena in beast cleave i did pwn there but i had the feeling that without my healer i wouldnt survive to long in there, now im on my own i see i was wrong you litteraly do pwn which i thought was werid me as playning almost always mm for pve and mm for pvp,
to peeps who wants to hafe fun and rofl behind there pc when they kill a rogue or feral cattie just by using BW and just running away without using 1 shot on him xD go bm , this topic is cinda useless but i always saw gars site a place where i can drop my storys too xD
but just try it out guys bm rocks, about pets i use as i said i use my spirit beast ( loque ) just because wanted to spend some time with him and hafe fun although you can get a whole lot better bm pvp pet which is maybe even better although loque's dmg is pretty good and its always awesome to see 100s whispers from peeps saying that my pet is freaking awesome 😛
TY, all peace out shahinson 😀

I use BM in my PVP spec with my spirit beast. I LOVE it, but have yet to go up against someone of the calibre of Tak or Gar. I just have fun in the regular level 80 bg's and WG. Wonder if it's different in arena, but sure you guys can tell me.
I've tried BM and definately a Hunter can definately do good in battlegrounds with the spec. My problem with it though was when I got caught with BW still on cooldown. I prefer the bag of tricks that MM and SV have to call upon. I have to say though that I did like taking down Warlocks as a BM Hunter. They are my big bane as MM.
As far as going up against BMs as MM. Unless they out gear me, I usually win the fight.
It's not so much "really pwning", as it is who's in the battlegrounds I think. A lot of players tend to ignore pets, and when you have a player whos damage is almost based off of their pet, it takes a toll. I like my spec that I'm developing right now for PVP, I'm sorta torn between half MM and up to the scatter shot or "stun" in the SURV tree. My facination with PVP sorta comes from "messing" with people. I've been stunned so many times as a Resto Druid that I want to get people back. It's cool to have the option to stun/ nuke people, especially mages and rogues- the two classes that made me angry on my druid. I still have yet to master warlocks, but I don't feel bad: they're overpowered PVP-wise.

BM has it rough in arena. It's only effective within very specific comps, and there are a lot of teams that can counter it. Also, good teams will try and CC you and train your pet, leaving you pretty much neutered and left for dead.
That said, I like it for my comp (Ret/BM). Our strategy is to pretty much go out and punch people in the throat and mug them, which makes the huge burst and increased mobility a definite plus. Pallies are pretty susceptible to CC, so it's pretty important for me to stay active and maintain pressure the entire time.
I like all three specs for PvP, but BM has always been my spec of choice since day one. I'm a pet guy. 🙂

I'm going to chime in and agree with Tak here. I've been a BM hunter since I rolled my hunter and while I love BM – my switch to MM has been an eye opener….especially with melee. BW was great before they reduced the time to 10 secs – this is just way too short to really make a difference anymore. Scatter shot is your friend 🙂
MM has much more utility that BM and tremendous damage and while your pet will do less damage – it becomes more of a tool to add to your arsenal rather than an extension or having another player at your side. I found that being able to personally do more damage allowed me to not only greatly increase my DPS but also increased my kills per BG.
In reference to your Warlock experience Tak – I've actually noticed that having silencing shot coupled with higher burst DPS as an MM – I can put a Warlock down quicker unless he or she is a better geared than I am. Having a level 80 Warlock – I can say that Hunters could take me out if they got a drop on me and were always a big problem – which is why I came back to my hunter 🙂
Oh...a suggestion: Do whatever you have to to get this potion: Free Action Potion. Since switching to MM - this has become my new version of BW albeit with a longer cooldown. This allows me to survive the annoying as hell stuns from pallys and other melee and carry that flag right past a gauntlet with ease. It has to piss off players when they can't do squat to stop me 🙂
Overall – MM is a better choice (at the moment) for PVP. Hopefully with Cat coming out BM will make a comeback…we'll have to wait and see. I will switch back in a heartbeat if it does.

I'm going to disagree with your comment about Warlock's being OP in PVP. If any class is OP in PVP – it's a resto Druid. As both a Warlock and hunter – Resto druids are hard as hell to kill and drive me up the wall. As long as you can keep your distance from Warlocks as a hunter – they're easy to take down. Hunters have a greater range than Warlocks – especially if you spec for the extra 6 yards. I was always trying to get into targeting range with hunters on my Lock and unless I could get a drop on one with dots – forget it.
I agree with you on the Resto Druid thing... They are thee PvP support class extraordinaire. Nearly impossible to burn down, immune to stuns, can break snares, they never run out-of-mana, plus they possess some of the best CC abilities.
Broken I tell you.
As far as this thread's concerned, here is my opinion from personal experience.
There isn't really any one class that makes me go OH S**T! But... if I had to pick a couple of classes that stand out as being more formidable opponents, they would be: Shadow Priests, Affliction Locks and Prot/Ret Pallies. Elemental Shaman can be nasty as well, provided you've no way to interrupt their spells.

First time posting, but I agree with Gar's list of formidable classes as BM PVP
I love BM pvp… I have tired pvp with the other two specs and it's just not as much fun for me. It can be a little rough when BW is on cool down, but its only a minute, so between Masters Call, Detterance, and disengage I can usually stay up long enough to let my pet go big and red again. I use a Silithid named Twitch currently as my pvp pet, but before that I used my Devilsaur, the Cunning talents are just so useful for pvp I'm really liking the switch. (plus the silithid gets really big with BW, which is fun to watch).
I will say that I'm very much looking forward to having scattershot after the patch as well. And I think Aspect of the Fox will be amazing for PVP once we can get it. Being able to autoshot and steady/cobra shot while moving will be awesome.

Ret Pallies are pretty much in the same boat as Rogues for me. If they get the drop on me, I'm dead. I catch them first though and I can usually take them down. Having a Ret Pallie alt is helping me in knowing what to do against them.
Any of the healers are a daunting task to take down. Most times I just pound on them to distract them in hopes they get to caught up in healing themselves to keep their comrades alive.
S.Priests and Affliction Warlocks just make me crawl in a corner and turn into a wimpering lump. They have to be uber bad for me to beat one. S.Priests make me go OH S**T! and run away.
