I continually have difficulty logging in. Sometimes, on some forums, i just can't login, no matter how many times I try. Then I go to another forum, and there I am, logged in.

I tried to address this in the Technical Support forum, but I couldn't log in there!

Sometimes, I am logged into a forum and see athread I would like to read. Only to find that inside that thread, I am no longer logged in. When I leave the thread and go back to the thread header, I'm logged in again.

To make if really frustrating, on different days, it's different forums/threads. There is no consistenc, other than it's me.

Sometimes, I am logged in as another user! Usually it's Porcia or Takass. No idea why, and I haven't hacked their accounts.

I am frustrated as anyone can be!

I think it may be a bug with the forum. Let me try upgrading to the latest stable release and we'll see if that fixes it.

Gar, as of this morning (my time) I am still having problems. Some fora I am logged on (like this one) and other fora I am not, and can't :-((

This is a test of the "wow what kind of weird Twilight Zone stuff is happening to me today" system.
I thought I was Oz, but now I'm not sure?
I started having issues myself. I'm hoping it was a caching problem -- I think I have it handled now.
Another update... I'm almost certain I found the culprit.

If anyone is still experiencing login issues, please clear your browsing history. If that doesn't fix it, then let me know.
The login issues should be gone now, though.
All fixed for me!  It was really wonky earlier - on one page I would show logged in as Gar, the next page I would be me. Thank you Gar!
I think the problem can be traced back to about 2-3 weeks ago. The site was going down to insufficient resources. I had a plugin that's designed to lessen the site's overhead, and it had gotten misconfigured due to a recent update. When I reconfigured it, I accidentally activated a setting that was causing all sorts of craziness for logged in users.
Maintaining a website is difficult enough, let alone one that gets 4-5K people per day... Oh well... I learned something new today!
At any rate, the forum/site should be functioning as intended once again.
As Han Solo would say...

In all seriousness though, I played Horde for the better part of 4 years, didn't really enjoy it that much, only reason I played Horde was cause my friends who got me into it, played Horde.

I much prefer the Alliance races and Architecture.

And windows are delicious, and Canada is awesome.
