Hi All,
I need help of more experienced hunters. There is one thing I do not understand and I started thinking it may be a bug. But maybe not. So here is the issue.
I was wearing 346 Worgen Hunter's Helm with following gems/enchants:
+54 Critical and 1% spell reflect meta
+20 Agility +20 Haste
+60 Agility +35 Haste Uldum Enchant
+30 Agility Socket Bonus
I reforged 80 Mastery into Critical
Total: +352 Agility +134 Crit +197 Haste +122 Mastery
As a result I ended up with total Agility of 4801, DPS 1056.8, Crit 1265, Haste 1466
Then I was super happy to get 359 Tsanga's Helm which I supplied with following gems/enchants:
+54 Agility +3% Critical meta
+20 Agility +20 Hit rating
+60 Agility +35 Haste Uldum Enchant
+30 Agility Socket Bonus
I reforged 91 Mastery into Haste
Total: +445 Agility +168 Crit +3% Crit +126 Haste +137 Mastery
As a result I ended up with total Agility of 4666, DPS 1039.9, Crit 1299, Haste 1395
How come almost all stats went up but I am getting way lower dps ?
How come Agility is almost 100 higher on Tsnaga's and my total Agility goes down from 4801 to 4666 ?
How come my total Attack Power is 150 higher with the 346 helm ?
I did not change any other item. I have reloged my account few times. I do not have any buffs on me while checking that.
Please advise what is the issue (if there is an issue).

Tsanga's is leather, so by equipping it you're giving up your Mail Specialization bonus, i.e. 5% agility buff.
Gar... I think you just broke her heart.
I wish they'd let you re-forege leather into mail, at least on BOE stuff. =P You could call it "reinforcing" or something like that. They could do it in a way that wouldn't be broken...somthing like allowing you to reinforce the next lower class of armor into stuff you could use. You could reinforce mail into plate, leather into mail and cloth into leather. Cloth would be s.o.l. since there's no lower armor class. Sorry squishies! =P
Although after giving it some thought as I typed this, perhaps you could allow greys to be reinforced to cloth. Yeah, that would be fair. =P
