I don't know if I should even be posting this and kept my thoughts to myself, but I'm going ahead anyways. I figured I would do it here in case I'm am off on what I'm thinking.
Like Gar, this guys post in the PvP forums just kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I get the idea this guy thinks a lot of himself as a Hunter. So I figured I would do some poking around to see if he was all talk about doing well as SV. Since he didn't give his actual in game named, I looked up his profile on here and he has a link to a blog he has started. He pretty much talks the same way there as his post here, SV is the greatest thing. Lots of opinion with nothing real good to back it up.
Don't get me wrong, people are welcomed to their own opinions, but in my experience guys like this lead to the misinformation that plagues our class and leads to some of the crappy Hunters we see around. It'll be interesting to see any further posts from him to say the least.
I don't see him as a problem. I mean, it's pretty obvious to anyone that knows the game that this guy doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. He's only level 72 FFS.
He's just another one of the countless players out there who decide they'll start a blog for whatever reason, then eventually give up when they realize how much "work" it is. As soon as he gets a few visitors flaming him after they've followed a link from mine, or another similar site, he'll probably pack it in.
It's when the high-profile and thought_to_be_credible bloggers post misinformation...then it's a problem.
This is another reason why maintaining a site like this is so much damn work. I have to research my tail off - even when covering topics I'm experienced with - just to be sure I didn't miss some minute little detail that may have slipped in under the radar.

I've never attempted a blog, but I did have a guild page that I had to maintain back during Burning Crusade. (I did have my own guild for awhile.) Granted it wasn't to the degree of work you have to put in here, but it definately makes me appreciate the effort you put forth here Gar.
