Kirix - aside from the floating rock, you can also tame from on top of a protruding rock on the west (on a mount, just to to the west side hill then jump on the rock), the other bugged area is the ledge of Fireplume Peak (just test taming range). With all three places, Kirix bugs out and should not be able to damage you.
Skitterflame is really bugged. Just clear mobs near him. Climb a bit on that rock/small hill in front of him… then Scare Beast. Tame.

Haven't left yet; leave tomorrow. Today i get to deal with finishing problems at work and my irate ex who is livid about us going. why he cannot be happy for his children, i don't know. I worked like a dog for this.

I've been hearing unconfirmed reports that the bug's been hotfixed. I haven't seen both so no chance to check it yet.
I understand about ex's... had/have one that bugged out 🙂
