HunterFocusBar is the name of the add on, it's simple a orangish bar that can be shift clicked anywhere on your screen. It keep track is ISS and MMM buff right on top of it for you!!!!

What's the problem you're having with NPC_scan?
I remember a while back I thought I had a problem with it, and after some searching I realized that Blizzard changed something so that the addon no longer works while alt-tabbed. It still technially works, but it won't play the sound or display the pop-up while you're alt-tabbed. When you tab in it will display the notice and play the sound, but that can be a notice for an npc that it found 5 or even 15 minutes ago. Took me a while to realize that was my problem, so maybe this helps. 🙂
I couldn't find info where Blizzard posted anything about changing that, but I've noticed a few other addons stop working while I'm alt-tabbed as well.

It now has an alt-tabbed setting, if I remember correctly. It just keeps the rares I've run into and isn't notifying me, even after I've cleared the cache, updated the settings, and deleted them from the list where it tells me to update it. It's completely updated, yet, even though I've been right on top of Loque, it never set off. Tho confuthing...
anyone else try this add on out? Was curious on what the general feel across the board was for it.

While I have it downloaded, I have yet to add it, let alone try it. Have been traveling a lot over the past two weeks, and have one more week of it before I can settle in and actually learn something. Timing just sucks with Cat. I hope someone else has given it a try and can offer up their feelings as well. 😀
I just tried this addon last night for the first time. I need to work on customizing it a bit. How did you get the procs to show under your character? I have the bar in roughly the same spot as you, but I find it hard to notice when ISS & MMM are up...
I left it as standard… i have since moved it a little more center on my screen. It's just something I have been getting use to glancing at just like anything else in the game =D
I've been using it for a while on all three of my hunters, and I like it. I have it just above the three NTK bars located between the Player and Target unit frames.
The configuration options are rather limited. I would like it to fade out when at maximum focus and not in combat. Even though the orange bar itself is hidden below non-combat panels such as AH and Professions, the border is at a higher level and stays on top of other screens, plus it is not click-through, so it can obscure information and get in the way of button clicks.
Just for the record, I had an old version. New version includes additional options, including 'Only in combat' and configurable bar colours, borders, fonts.
I would prefer the 'non-combat' fade-out option to only operate at full focus. As it is, I have to use the focus bar on my Player SUF to check I'm back up to 100% before starting the next fight.
Oooh... now that the textures are configurable, I may have to look into this one. I was reluctant before due to the appearance being suck, but now I'm thinking it may work in nicely with the UI.
