Hey guys I got this link from a random google hunter search and I read the threads in here and everyone seems to be really social and nice so I decided to join hope you don't mind. And I guess ill post a little bit about me so everyone can kind of get a feel for who this new strage guy is.
Well obvious I'm a hunter Xd
I enjoy long walks into horde lands and a goblin snack for my pets, they get a tauren every now and then.
I like to pvp alot (new hunter pvp armor is kinda eeehh I wish we could re decorate our armor I'd get the BC arena hunt armor I forget what its called... all black with skull shoulder plates and green smoke uuuggghh that is so BA looking) Oh and bows FTW! (Random)
I have a mage I also play (DONT SHOOT JUST YET) =] its 50 50 with them I have my hunter days and my mage days very hard for me to choose who I lvl'd and all that good stuff.

I was going to roll belf hunter but (call me geeky) their lore didn't really seem shall we say... "Hunterey" all about magic and stuffs even trolld around town in silvermoon and I came across some belf hunters (thats what they looked like to me) trying to tell the other elfs that they shouldn't be so reliant on magic and blahblahblah and they were all like NUH UH our city was made from magic! And then some belf comes along and like erases the hunter elfs memory I mean WTF are belfs commies? Outspeak against magic and poof goes your memory?
Besides nelf culture was the reason I became a hunt. Darnassus is sssoo prty and nelfs just seem more like hunters to me than belfs =/ my opinion ne way. And you would not believe how hard it is to find a freakin picture that is a MALE nelf for my avatar I can't believe it. Its either a chick nelf or a naked nelf with another naked belf or darenei O.o creepy
The only thing I like about my Alliance toon is riding the tram - after that meh.

Still say alliance nelf is one of the coolest looking hunter models, gobs are to short and stubby, and orcs just dont belong as hunters (sorry if some of you are orc hunts) when i think of an orc i think of this big buff loud green guy smashing stuff... Kinda like hulk ya know? I dont see the hulk becoming a hunter just cant see this big greed dude being all sneaky like.

Actually, nothing like a night elf male hunter to look like a REAL character. Females… meh, I play them cuz I am one, but the vacant stares and bouncy boobs get to me.
Sorry you ran into bad lore with the blood elves. Niika is a blood elf huntress and the lore is intriguing. Hell, both nelfs and belfs flip the same coin, it's just in how they interpreted the ancient wars. Dig a little further back and you may find some interesting cross-references.

Forsaken Hunters are ones I have trouble wrapping my mind around. Hunters are supposed to be "one" with their animal companions. I picture animals not caring to much for a walking corpse. I can however picture a Forsaken Ranger, which is pretty much what Sylvanus is.
I think they fixed it with the nasty, undead, skin-falling-off-them wolves and bears in Tirisfal! I have a Forsaken Hunter. He has a rotting bear as a pet. Yay.
Hello Cyden, welcome to the Lodge.
Right up front, I think we are going to have issues... Though Darrwyn started life as a traditional Troll hunter, he was running around Booty Bay one day and fell into the Goblin Disconboobulator or whatever it is called and came out an amnesiac goblin. The guy who was trying to fix the errant device told him to... "get out of the way you cog sprocket!" and he thought that must be his name. Hence, Cogsprocket would be real upselt with any nelf trying to make a snack out of him. And so would his trusty bear companion, Grizzelda!
Before you start to denegrate our fabulous stride, goblins don't waddle, prance or shuffle... we strut. And you notice how we strut around with a wide legged gait? You know why?.... I'm not gonna break the family friendly code, fella but you can bet your life it's necessary!
