<\/p>\nAfter spending a few days hunting down the rares in Molten Front, I came up with a convenient strategy that may prove helpful – or at least convenient – for those of you on the hunt.<\/p>\n
There is a location I found on the NE edge of The Furnace that is a great lookout point for all 7 of the Molten Front rares. Standing in this one spot, you can check all of the spawn locations in under a minute.<\/p>\n

I was continuing to use NPCScan<\/a> while out hunting, but I found it to be largely unreliable, as most the time it was sending false alarms after having detected a hunter pet version of a rare.<\/p>\n Rather than clear the NPCScan cache every couple minutes, or ride around trying to target them, I found using Eagle Eye<\/a> is a pretty efficient way to hunt for all of the rares at once<\/span>. Just throw the target circle on the right edge of the Forlorn Spire.<\/p>\n Solix is inside a cave, which makes targeting him a little tricky. Move your target circle towards the top of the cave entrance, then slowly move it to the right until just before the center of your target circle disappears from view. This will position your sight just inside the cave, near the top of the entrance. Solix spawns in the lava pool on the right, with the thin stream of lava pouring in.<\/p>\n Position the target circle at the mouth of the crevasse between Ragnaros’ reach and the Widow’s Clutch.<\/p>\n Depending upon your game settings, you may not need to use Eagle Eye to scout for Skarr or Karkin at their northern spawn point, but if you do, just place the target circle at the edge of Fireplume Peak like this:<\/p>\n Place your target circle at the southern edge of Fireplume Peak to look for Skarr or Karkin at their southern spawn location, or to see if Kirix is up patrolling around.<\/p>\n To check for Skitterflame, place the target circle as shown. Hey look…she’s home!<\/p>\n
