Besides PvPing I also participate in raiding. The past few months I haven't got much raiding in though, due to my work schedule in real life. Recently I had a schedule change and can attend the guilds raids again. I've been filling in here and there for when people aren't able to make it, but haven't been able to land a regular spot in one.
Tuesday night I was filling in on a Firelands raid. The group did well and we cleared up to Ragnaros and took a couple of shots at him, but couldn't down him. As we are calling a night I get a whisper from the raid leader that he wants to give me a regular spot. He said it was great having a Hunter that was able to crowd control the adds that they wanted him to. The Hunter they were having do it was someone's alt and they sucked bad at crowd control. This person is switching back to his main and I get to strut my stuff now as a regular to the raid group. Hopefully we will get to see a Ragnaros kill soon.

I swear, some of the best versatile raiders I've seen are those with heavy PVP experience. They've been worked hard at avoiding shit and rogues, and can sidestep with the best of them. They can drop and throw traps at the speed of light, and they've been doing it for so long, it is instinctual. I am not surprised, hun, you rock.
