Found a ridiculously easy way to kill the whale shark. We ran it multiple times for alts and guildies. Paladin swam backwards while shield taunting it just within range. Hunters kept MD'ing to tank, everyone else just DOT'd. It probably could have been done by four or five, but we ran like 15 to 20 through at a time. It was so much fun, especially with ginger beer and popcorn.

Abby, it was awesome. We were all one-shotted the first few times around. it was hilaroius. Good luck, and let me know if it works for you.

I've read on the internets (so it must be true! lol) that the Whale Shark has been solo'd a few times, by a Rogue and also by (gasp!) a Mage. I don't think I buy it, but meh, who knows?
Grats Niika, I will have ot try and come along some time if I'm around when you guys do that again, I bet it's a blast

A guildie hunter tried it but actually got bored kiting and shooting because it's taking too long. lol. My guildie said it's quite easy to be in range while swimming away because the Whale Shark's slow.
Anyway, I like this “raid.” It reminds me of Japanese anime space battles where you can see missile trails heading off to the capital ship.

Anj, that is exactly what it looked like. this tiny paladin swimming endlessly in front of a giant shark like some tasty shrimp while the rest of us pew pew'd along side him.
We had another hunter try it yesterday, but someone aggro'd him when he was like 30% down and he broke away and reset. Guy laughed at her. She's now out seeking revenge.
Ozzie, we'd love to have you come with, some time. Vent gets kinda laughy when we do these things, so don't expect a srs bsnss kind of show.
