Since all of the Cataclysm beezneez will be going down tomorrow night at precisely 12:01; I figured I would see if anyone is doing anything special.
Unfortunately, most of my RL friends were D-U-M and bought a store copy instead of the digital copy. I, with my typical genius swagger, purchased straight from blizzard and will start a blitzkrieg run to the big 8-5 the second it goes live.
I have stocked up on copious amounts of energy drinks, mountains of microwavable treats, and most importantly: zeppelin loads of alcohol.
I will resurface sometime around noon on Thursday. That is all.

Oh my my my, Bobafett… that sounds like WAY too much work to me.
I too, have my digital copy all ready to go, but I do have to admit to being completely sad that I will not be at a store come midnight. I have truly enjoyed responding to questions like “Yes, I play. Yes, they are real. No, this is not for my boyfriend or son, but it is for me.”
Since everyone is running for Server Firsts, and since it is a source of pride for all of what, 16 people out of the thousands on Moon Guard, I have decided to go another route and am leveling professions. I have metals and mats good to go, and while y'all are racing to 85, with worgens and goblins running around, I”ll be the one posting everything on the AH to help y'all grow. And in the meantime, if I make a bit of mount money to get old world flying, so be it. 
I will sleep. I hate bags under my eyes.

Yea, I have the habit of just wanting to devour all the new stuff, but there is sooo much going to be new that it is overwhelming. I'll probably take it really slow too, I'll level and do quests, but I don't care about server firsts, I'm the server first Drach “BadMofo” and that's good enough.
I have my digital copy, and will log in as soon as things go live, grab old world flying and just explore all the new zones and check them out probably.

My copy will arrive from Amazon tomorrow for install while I am at the kiddo's Holiday program at school. Unfortunately RL kicks butt this time of year so my first day to login will be Thursday night then I will be out again until the following Tuesday. No server firsts for me.
I did buy a case of Mocha Rockstars at Sam's for once I do get some playing time. Many guildies are starting their vacations today and will all be online at midnight tonight. I told them they have jinxed themselves and will all be kicked out for hours and hours due to the millions logging in an server maintenance. =)

Hahaha, yea I feel it's going to be a beating trying to get on for a few weeks until all of the expansion-curious folks lose interest again.

I'll be the server first Windolicker on Aerie Peaks, that's all that matters to me, RAWR!
So all my preparations will involve lots and lots of Alcohol, and of course picking the expansion up tomorrow after work, since the EBGames where I pre-ordered my copy isn't doing a midnight release

I'm starting to seriously worry about some of you… letting your real life obligations get in your way ::shakes head::
I really am not even concerned with getting any server firsts or anything like that. What I want, what will happen, what gives wind to my sails, is becoming 85 in a stupid short time and then going on a gank-fest such has never been seen before!
