I've been playing WoW for a little over a year now, and a hunter actively since around October. Never before have I had so much fun in battlegrounds as I am now, and I ut it all down to at long last having some resilience.
it's a catch 22 isn't it… you need resilience to hit your straps, but you don't get resilience unless you an either pay for it, or earn it through the accumulation of honor/conquest points.
And it's easy to completely ignore the naysayers, you're bads, etc cos it just doesn't matter!
In the last week, just from doing bgs while farming for leather, I've accumulated a couple of viscous armor, a trinket and a ring, all boosting my resilience considerably. And I'm hving SO MUCH MORE FUN not being one or two shotted because what the other guys throw at me!
My advice to those who are not enjoying PVP… don't worry about results, just participate, cos when you get some resilience, the game changes for you. A lot!

On the topic of not enjoying PvP- I've finally been able to adjust my BM spec and program in a few of Gar's macros for PvP and I already have a handful of resiliance pieces of gear. The other day in TB I found myself surviving much longer and really enjoyed myself, though the fight was quite short. Darr's advice is good, imo, just get in there and enjoy yourself in the moment.
