Hi all !

Its a good idea to show Ui <img class=" />

So here's mine. I use Pitbull with Bartender 4 too.

My Ui is the Malfate UI for a Screen of 1400X900

Enjoy !

This Screenshot is at the end of a fight in a 4 player : October's Headless Man run. I know its look charged, but i need those icon_smile. I guess i will try the Garwulf UI soon.

For my 12icon_eekx1024 monitor I came up with a mixture of simplicty and default-Blizzard stuff (mostly for frames, because I hate not being able to right-click focus).

Gar, what addon are you using to show fps, armor status, location and such? I always used TitanPanel but I'd like to find something a bit more configurable.

SL Data Text is what I'm using.

Download it here: http://www.wowinterface.com/do…..aText.html

It has a lot more to offer than what I have displayed. Really cool addon.

Great!

Does it keep track of total gold (alts included) or does it simply show you character's gold?

Good question, but I'm gonna go with character specific. I use Bagnon to view my riches (or lack thereof).

Hi Gar, everyone… here's my latest minimalist UI. Credits go to the respective UI authors. I don't code so I have just chosen the ones I like and put them all together.

Solo

I chose this shot at Storm Peaks just to show how oUF_Caellian and oUF_BarFader works together. oUF_Caellian also integrates the buff/debuffs with the player frames. At the bottom, one action bar is always visible, the others appear on mouseover.

Raid

The small vehicle exit button was resized and moved to the left (the default is centered onscreen, I don't know why.). gdFont changes WoW's damage font to the Diediedie font. <img class=" /> The raid frames is by oUF_Caellian once again.

Addons

I'm currently experimenting on Cooline. I placed it just above the visible action bar. The hidden action bar shows up on top of Cooline when needed.

Well, that's it. By no means finished. I'm continually on the hunt for new UI's…

That looks great Jroaeyl. Is that an oUF raid frame? I like it.

I messed with coolline a bit, but found it to be somehwat redundant and unnecessary, for my Ui anyway. But… I'm thinking of looking at it again. I've seen UIs where players place the bar just above the UF like you were describing. That I like.

Let me know what you think of it. There's another one that Drackmire mentioned to me called SexyCooldowns. I saw it configured on someone else's UI and it looked pretty nice. May be worth a try.

Thanks Gar! Those raid frames are generated by oUF_Caellian too — that's why I can't give it up because it's handling everything I need.

I've just checked out Sexycooldowns. It's highly configurable (and sexy) but it's a memory hog. I've decided not to use it and Coolline and will just stay with OmniCC for now.

I may experiment with those unit frames on another toon. Like you, I'm always open to new ideas and I enjoy tinkering with new addons.

I didn't realize those cooldown bars were so hungry for resources. Good to know. I felt like it was just a cool looking duplicate of OmniCC, which is why I didn't go for it. I've seen some UIs where players have their action bars completely hidden and use nothing but SexyCD, Coolline, or Forte, but that's not really my preference.

I guess it all boils down to what works best for you.

I really like what you've done though. Your share a lot of the same tatses in UI design as I do. You like things clean.

Just a few minutes ago, I unloaded all addons and switched back to the default. I changed UI scaling to the minimum and you know, I like it! I'm on a 16icon_eek x 1050 screen so that could have helped with the "clean" default look.

LOL. Probably having some addon-burnout…

I've done that. lol

Then I found that there were some addons that I just didn't want to go without anymore, whether it was for convenience sake or not.

Then it was back to the drawing board.

I'll tell you what though, some of the top arena players have the ugliest UIs, and they're almost always based upon the stock UI.

Sometimes less is more. All depends upon the player I suppose. I played with the default UI for about 2 years before I started discovering addons. Then it was all she wrote. I couldn't leave things well enough alone. icon_wink

Here's another of the "more complicated" but awesome UI's I'm playing around with. Not my work but by Roth. Extensive documentation and currently being tested for the PTR.

My UI before I saw the clean lines of garwulfs, which inspired me to cut some of my mods out…and use some of the ones he uses instead.

9184939.jpg/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">[Image Can Not Be Found]9184939.th.jpg" alt="http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/6144/wowscrnshot111icon_eek9184939.th.jpg" />

AND AFTER

9190443.jpg/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">[Image Can Not Be Found]9190443.th.jpg" alt="http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/3853/wowscrnshot111icon_eek9190443.th.jpg" />

Present Mods (even if you can't see them…YAY for Garwulf showing me I could change the visibility of things)

Pitbull

DBM

Carbonite Quest (Sorry, Quest helper annoys me all to hell and I like the complete and EASY customization of Carbonite)

Power Auras

Bartender 4

Gearscore

I still use Vuhdo over grid for my priest…

Titan panel as the Mod Garwulf uses causes too much lag on my crappy computer

I replaced Sexymap with Chinchilla, X-perl with Pitbull.

Thanks for the addons Garwulf, I never would have achieved exactly what I was looking for unless I had seen your post. I've been struggling with getting a clean and simple UI I could have set for different circumstances in a heart beat. Now I do!

And just sorta what my UI USED to look like before I completely changed it all around on my "druid main". It wasn't as clean as I had liked, I did fine with it for awhile, but constantly having to move my things around and changing them or turning something on and off or who knows what else while raiding was a tad annoying. I had SO many bars I never could figure out how to slim it down to the essentials or only have something showing when I actually needed it.

and now…

I saw the new quest tracker in the PTR. You might like it.

Good job slimming your UI down.

Jroaeyl,

Being a huge Diablo fan, I love that Roth UI. I'm tempted to try it out on my DK perhaps.

I'm also liking the new quest tracker. I'm not really a fan of either Carbonite or QH, but they're such a benefit while leveling. At any rate, I'll be glad to dump my quest addon once that goes live.

Anariell,

I'm glad that you've discovered some new addons that you like, and excellent work on the UI. icon_smile

Were you having problems with SL Data Text? It does some of the same things as Titan Panel. It surprises me that it would cause lag, because it's so much leaner than Titan Panel.

I've found another ui that I like a lot: Tukui. Tuk even has an entire site dedicated to the ui: http://www.tukui.org.

this is my newest UI

http://img410.imageshack.us/img410/2963/justoui2.th.png

shown:

AzCastBar – http://wow.curse.com/downloads…..t-bar.aspx

amazing castbar mod, super customizable and WAY better than Quartz.  uses like no memory compared to Quartz.

AG Unitframes – http://wow.curse.com/downloads…..rames.aspx

does the same exact thing as Pitbull, but with less memory usage.

Dominos – http://wow.curse.com/downloads…..minos.aspx

Same as Bartender, but uses less memory.

DBM – http://wow.curse.com/downloads…..-mods.aspx

Boss MOds.  i prefer this, but any of them do the exact same thing just with different bells and whistles.

Fubar – http://wow.curse.com/downloads…..fubar.aspx

uses way less memory than Titan Panel.  i choose this over sldata or w/e Gar uses simply because it uses the same memory usage.

KG Panels – http://wow.curse.com/downloads…..anels.aspx

this is the panel colored black where my chat frame is.  you can create as many as you want and put em anywhere you want.

MSBT – http://wow.curse.com/downloads…..-text.aspx

more customizable than SCT and uses way less memory.

Omen – http://wow.curse.com/downloads…..meter.aspx

you know what Omen is…

OmniCC – http://wow.curse.com/downloads…..ni-cc.aspx
puts cooldown numbers on all your buttons and pulses when a button is cooled down.

OrA2 – http://wow.curse.com/downloads…../ora2.aspx

tank frames

Satrina Buff Frame – http://wow.curse.com/downloads…..frame.aspx

best. buff. mod. ever.

Sexymap – http://wow.curse.com/downloads…..xymap.aspx

its a minimap addon.  super customizable. and….its sexy!

Simple MD – http://wow.curse.com/downloads…..le-md.aspx

shows bars when a hunter uses his/her MD and tells you when its available again.

Red Range – http://www.wowinterface.com/do…..Range.html

dominos doesnt color buttons that are out of range, so this does it for me.

Power Auras – http://www.wowinterface.com/do…..assic.html

you can mahe this show…petty much whatever you want.  mine shows me talent procs, item procs, when my HM is NOT on a target, when i have a certain fight-situational buff etc.

not shown:

Geist – http://wow.curse.com/downloads…..geist.aspx

at a keystroke shows a hidden set of buttons.  mine are used to show things i dont use all the time.

Rating Buster – http://wow.curse.com/downloads…..uster.aspx

best gear stat comparison mod ive ever seen.

Tip Tac – http://wow.curse.com/downloads…..p-tac.aspx

replaces default tooltip with a customizable one.

Bank Items – http://www.wowinterface.com/do…..Items.html

shows whats in my bank, on any toon, on any server, from any toon, on any server, from anywhere you are on the map.

Feign Resist Bell – http://www.wowinterface.com/do…..tBell.html

plays an obnoxious bell sound when FD gets resisted.

Answering Machine Plus – http://wowui.incgamers.com/?p=…..amp;m=3544

when you are /afk this records whispers and AH messages and plays them back in the chat window when you come back.
