Tamed same place as everyone says they tamed thiers.. No compition. got home from work @ 12:30am went on one my other characters skilled inscription up a bit then was getting ready to switch to my lvl 35 rogue and thought hey i should login and check to see if he is there.. i flew from dalaran and flew over and i got soo excited i almost died b/c i hit the icon to fall off mount.

Thanks hun, I tried again last night as well, on Moon Guard however, he had just been tamed and there were other hunters waiting. Hopefully tonight.
It's interesting what Blizzard has done with this one…

Thats one of the great things about playing late at night Calvin, there's not many people around to interrupt you from trying to tame the rares.
I tamed Arcturis just a few weeks ago, I love the look on him but I just wasn't too fond of his Spirit Strike attack.
Right now I've switched over to a devilsaur to try it out for a bit.

Yeah agreed I was just so happy I got him then played with him a few he doesn't help much with my DPS like my other pets. He is a just for show type pet and probly a good dot if in pvp for rogues. Since pets seem to be able to chase rogues that vanish still. I have a cat that I got from darkshore I had to go threw trophies to find him but he looks. As if he is stealth all time.. thank you for all the grats hope everyone else gets thiers!

I tamed him on the PTR and loved him! Had I some extra room in the stable, I'd definitely add him.
Regardless of his DPS contribution or PvP viability, Arcturis is one helluva pet. I will definitely be taming him once we get more stable slots in cataclysm.

Gar, have you used a spirit beast for pvp? I so enjoy mine, was wondering what you thought.
He's been tamed on MG for three nights in a row before 3am…

Once in a great while I take Loque'nahak out for some BGs. I more or less do it just to remind myself I have a spirit beast in the stable.
I'm not a huge proponent of using them in BGs, just 'cause there are others pets with a lot more to offer, but if you really enjoy having that pet at your side, then by all means – use one.
I like using King Krush now and again, as well as my ghost wolf, strictly because I just like those pets. They're not the greatest for PvP, but they still work. My devilsaur doesn't bring any PvP skills other than the ability rip people's faces off, but that's fine… I like that.
It's the same with a Spirit Beast – they're DPS glass cannons. As long as you can keep them alive, then they'll do alright.
However, if I'm finding myself in a series of struggling BGs, then I am always going to queue with my best pet, which in my case is the Chimaera.
A Spirit Beast can be a decent pet for BGs – it's just not the best.
