WOW alot of new faces!! I skimmed through but as I'm seeing, the crowd has not changed around the lodge at all.
I give you SOO much credit for stepping up and being a great player. It only takes ONE person to do that and they will forever remember there are still nice people out there in the world. The stories after stories you guys post, makes me proud to still be part of the lodge! Even if I have been too caught up in the new content to come around here myself alot and keep posting. (sorry guys I know I'm being a horrible Muse!!)
I personally try to be this person to anyone who ask for help, even to the gold beggers. I think the best one I have had that to this day still sends me tells to keep in touch was… before the shattering, and all the nice avenues of flight travel.
I was outside Stormwind sorta afking.. talking in O chat, G chat, one of those lazy days ya know. I had a guy ask simply where should I level. Of course it was WAAAY north were he didn't have flight paths too in Arathi Highlands, so we got on the trusty Mammoth Mount and kick Gismo off and had a nice ride/chat along the way. I take my hate off to each and everyone of you for being those players who make the game fun and worthwhile to play =D

A quick update on this story:
The hunter in question just dinged
the other day and sent me, via in-game mail, a wonderfully wrapped Delicious Chocolate Cake with a short, simple thank you note. I am now buffed with happy! =)
Sometimes this game can be just too cool.
Where's my like button??

First post here, thanks Law for inspiring me to registering.
I've played a hunter off and on since midway through TBC, mostly PVP. I wasn't a very good hunter, even if I could own in BGs in TBC, but that was because hunters were pretty OP at that point. In Lich, I had a very hard time because I loved playing a hunter, but I didn't really know how to play and eventually quit WoW. I came back just before Cata, but wasn't playing my hunter because the changes were so dramatic. Managing focus vs. mana was very hard for me at first. To the point.
It took me a while, but eventually I got better at playing a hunter, especially in PVP. I ended up being the "goto" guy for hunter pvp questions in my guild (a high end PVP guild on my server). That came from reading sites like Huntsman lodge. It has also helped me to provide advice for hunters in BGs. Especially on pets. You know the BM hunters who are running with a spider instead of a silithid, etc. I don't know if I would have taken as much time as Law did with this young hunter, but I would have helped, because I know I still feel like a nub many days and helping someone get through that frustrating stage of knowing you are doing things wrong but not knowing why can be the key between a person who quits the game and continues on and loves the game.
