Hi there, found your site, and I love it. I've been looking for one of these off and on for awhile now, so I'm really glad I ran into it.

So I need some advice about weapon enchants. Today I picked up a fist weapon and dagger. Now I know that as a hunter a polearm or staff is probably better, but for now its the best I can get until I get the drops I need. But my question is, which enchants should I put on them until I can get the staff? The agility enchant I had on my old staff is only for a 2H weapon, and I can't seem to find anything else. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Best your going to get for one handers is

http://www.wowhead.com/spell=60707

Hopefully you can upgrade to a staff or polearm soon.

Hey Genox:

Damn I miss duel wielding my axes!!   Anyway, the enchant Tak suggested above is good, especially if you are BM.  But, I personally would probably go with the Exceptional Agility enchant:  http://www.wowhead.com/spell=44633  Gives you +26 agility on each hand – that's +52 agility.  If you are having trouble with "hit" rating (and you shouldn't with reforging now), there is also Accuracy http://www.wowhead.com/spell=59619 which gives you +25 Crit and +25 Hit on each hand  (so 50 crit and 50 hit).  (If you PvP, I believe the weapon chains that reduce disarm give you 25 hit each hand – treated as an enchant)

I wouldn't spend too much on these enchants – you will replace them with a staff or polearm in very little time (sadly), and get yourself the sweet +130 agility enchant.

Thank you both for the suggestions. I currently have the superior potency, but RAWR said I should go with the agility enchants. Unfortunately my servers AH prices are ridiculous right now, and the agility enchants just aren't worth it for now. I'm really hoping to get the staff from Well of Eternity soon, but sadly it hasn't dropped for me yet. And my tanks are usually druids and they like to roll against me. My hit rating right now is actually over the cap, so I'm actually trying to figure out how to get rid of some, lol.

Post your armory link and we can take a peek at what you got going on and maybe give you some tips. We love helping out around here.

Yup,  it's the right place. Looking at your armory I'm assuming you must have done some reforging recently as you are now low in hit rating. It's not by a lot, but to have no misses you should be at 8% or better. My personal opinion is I would rather be over by a little then under by a little. It's your call though.

Well, as of right now I'm not raiding, so the little bit of hit I'm missing seemed like an ok way to go. Once I start though I'll definitely figure out how to go back up. That's also, surprisingly what RAWR told me to do. My dps seems to have gone down since I did what it said, so I'm thinking about going back to how I had it. If I can remember how that was. According to another site noxxic.com my rotation is pretty spot on, so I'm not sure what the deal is.
