For practically forcing one race of hunter's to live up to the title of "Huntard".

What prompted this you may ask?  This post over at Frostheim's site did.  Seriously a tank gun is the best dps weapon over all for Dwarf Marksman Hunters?  Really? 

Yeah technically it is not the "best" dps weapon overall, that would be Zod's Repeating Longbow, according to the spreadsheet however, it isn't off by much (some 37 dps lower than Zod's least according to Frost's post) but since spreadsheets are theoretical that number will in all probability be lower in practice.

Granted this probably only applies to Dwarf MM Hunter's, due to their Gun Specialization racial and the fact that Marks relies on weapon damage to a greater extent, and not all Hunter's or all Hunter specs, but still … There's just something about it that seems so wrong.

It would be wrong I think to have a properly itemized ilvl 264 BoE hunter gun drop in ICC, but they should have at least one boss in there you can loot a gun from.

There's another that drops in ICC 25 off the Blood Queen I believe, Stakethrower, which he did use for all of a day.  But then he must have put back on his Goggles because well…

His stance on bows is really funny though. I'd hate to think he'd turn down Zod's in favor of Rowan's when presented with the opportunity. If so, then I guess he's even more of a roleplayer than we all know.

Frost's thing is that if it's within 1% to 2% difference then he's okay with it, he did some paper napkin math and apparently there is only a 0.3% difference between Zod's and Rowan's.   Since it's so minor I can sort of understand his point.  That said, it's not like Zod's drops off the Lich King for crying out loud XD.

The man must really love his gun specialization racial.
