Level 85; crit, hit, haste & mastery

So, I'm 85 and have been for some time now. I've been at it with dungeons, pvp and a tiny bit raid.

But; I'm a bit unclear on how much Hit is needed?
Same goes with haste; can I even get too much of that ??
And what about crit & mastery ? What's best and can I get too much ?

Sorry if this have already been answered, but I couldn't seem to locate in on the forum..

You need enough hit to be at the hit cap, which is 961 I think (might be a little out on that) and you want enough haste (if you're survival) to get three cobra shots in between each explosive, so make sure your cast time of cobra shot is around 1.66 at least.

After that generally crit is better than mastery for sv from what I've read.

He has stated above correctly. Not sure on actual numbers, But hit is till 8%. Haste not matter what spec, you will have more then enough on your gear. As Survi Crit and mastery can go hand in hand, but it better once you get up wards of 44% crit. Which is hard atm with current gear, that is just number crunching =D

Personally what I'm doing is leaving most of my gear as is, and if I reforge anything it's to crit. So here's my PERSONAL stat weight list.

Hit

Agi

Crit

Attack Power

Mastery=Haste

Happy Huntings.

Horns and Hooves = +15 DPS

Pertaining to hit: As I'm mathematically impaired (okay I'm lazy) I've found the simplest way to find out if you're hit is where it 'should' be is to open up your char info screen and hover over hit chance as the SS shows. If you're at zero miss, you're good. I'm sure you already know this but just in case icon_smile

As you can see, currently I'm not and I'm proud of it! To find out when you're capped so you don't go over the cap and other spiffy math stuff as it seems a few calcs have changed with Cat , follow the link.
