I'm going to vent my frustrations here for a moment.

Lately I am feeling not very "welcomed" in groups as a Hunter. More specifically groups from the guild I'm in. I may be just being a bit "touchy" about it, but I may not. I just need to vent a bit.

The problem I am having is the guild has a LOT of Hunters in it. If we are doing a heroics run, the group has no less then two Hunters, 50% of the time, if not more. People aren't out right saying people can't come on their Hunter, BUT their is a lot of belly aching about having a group which is mostly Hunters. I don't see the problem myself, but evidentally a lot of people have a problem with it. It's not a dps issue, all of the Hunters are putting out good dps (at least good dps for their specs). People have been belly aching so much, that I've taken to doing runs with my Retribution Paladin (which isn't as popular anymore because of the nerfs it took and isn't face roll anymore.) People are liking having him along because of his off healing capabilities, which I don't mind going on him, but I would prefer my Hunter.

I've thought of switching guilds, but I've talked to some Hunters from other guilds and they are seeing the same. I'm not sure what I'm going to do at this point. I love the class, but I also love running instances and raiding, but it seems like I can only do that on my Pallie because there are so many Hunters around.

The problem is quite simple, at least through my experience.

Since cataclysm dropped I have run about 90 HC's and run a few raids like BH & BWD 3 or 4 times. In that time I have managed to have 9 pieces of mail drop. Only 3 of them being Agility instead of Intellegence. This is especially annoying when I am seeing the same 2 pieces for Warlock and Rogue dropping in BH on more than one occation.

As a result I am far less inclined to do HC's or 10 man raids with other Hunters in. Luckily I run my guild so I can be picky about it's members when it comes to sharing loot.

I am pretty sure this is the feeling of a lot of hunters (not all) and why some get very grouchy about being grouped with other like minded awesome class wonder ultra mega genius'!

Imho i think you should be happy you can get heroics. Currently Dps get a 40min random heroic queue and i think ive only completed to or 3 heroics since cata dropped. Heroics are soooo fail within my cross server and even in guild runs its ussually fail. so i think everyone should be happy they get teh chance to get justice points and chances to get armor. i understand your position tho takaas and all i can say is i think you should either grit it out and make friends so people would pick you over other people or find a guild lacking hunters. good luck on your decision.
