Aggie, just roll a hunter on MG.  Bees don't have enough hunters, we need more, especially if you're going to be PVPing and digging deep into mods and add ons.  You can hog the stripper pole from Darwyyn.

Wow, I get to use the pole. woot. I promise not to get too attached to it.

I could do a hunter on MG -horde right? 'll let you know when I roll him. Probly be this weekend. So much work to do lately.

Oi! Just when I notice the what's on the pole you want to take it away? Well so much for hive camaraderie! Really!

Shocked and dismayed!

/flexes and high-fives Abby for getting two grown men to fight over a stripper pole.

Agra, I jest about the lack of hunters.  I think we all get along so great because we are all hunter-hive-minded.  Roll what you like, the fun will follow.  And yes, we are horde.

Niika,

I I like hunters. ;-) perhaps I will roll an alliance and just follow you around and beg for mercy ;-) hehehe.

really though. I have been playing my hunter the most lately.

Darrwyn – you can have the pole back if you want. :-) I keep falling off the darn thing anyways. I think I mightneed lessons.

If time allows, I would even consider learning how to make the addons. What language does the wow system utilize for that stuff? Anyone know a quick link to find the info?

Lua is used to create most addons. You can visit the official Lua website for more details on how to use the language. =)

That said, sadly I'm on an Oceania server (Saurfang–yes, it's PvE, but I've rolled on a PvP server before, and I really don't like having to look over my shoulder 50% of the time). I'd roll on MG but I probably won't be able to handle latency on Stateside servers. icon_sad

Also, glad to see another old-school gamer on board. icon_wink I may not be as old as most of you (a couple years away from 30), but I loves me arcade classics when I sees 'em. =)

Sub,

Thanks for the link. I will definitely take a look into it. I noticed that there are several other game engines out their that implement LUA as well so the applications may range much further then just wow.

Arcade classics hmmm. I grew up playing Wizard of Wor in our local arcade. That was 20+ years ago. ;-)

Classic arcades dont even really exist anymore in my area (New England), that I am aware of. Oh sure we have a couple of those psuedo-arcades, all skiball and ticket dispensing games for crappy stuff you could buy at a dollar store.

We don't even have any cyber cafe/gaming rooms around anymore. We used to be able to get a group together and go at it for ours but times are a changing.

Lol, Wizard of Wor, old Midway classic. =) I haven't had a chance to play the icon_eek's classics, as most of my arcade gaming took place during the 90's. Then again, I grew up with an MSX and a genuine Japanese Famicom, so I didn't miss out altogether. =P

Mate, don't worry about latency. All the Oceania servers are in the US anyway, so there is no diference there. My latency is much the same regardless of server.

The main difference is the number of people on the server at times that Oceania players are accessing. I'm a shift worker so tend to play at any time of the day or night. I find the US servers are quiet from around 3pm (GMT+10) whereas the Oceania servers are just getting active then, with kids arriving home from school, and later from 7pm when Mums and dads find time to get on.

Darn, I checked the availability and MG is full. >_< I wanted to get on there with a low-level hunter.

EDIT: OK, I cracked up and made a hunter on MG. Look for Gryzor, Orc Hunter extraordinaire with bald and sexy head to match. icon_wink

If a Tauren Hunter and a Tauren Druid marry and have children, you will end up with BraveStarr and Thirty-Thirty.

All hive bulletin… be on the lookout for Orc, bald and umm… can I say this? … sure?…. ok then… sexy! Calls himself Gryzor.

While you're at it, also be on the lookout for a Goblin, rude, cranky, arrogant and um… yeah rude will do it… calls himself Allicidal, whatever that's supposed to mean.

Cheers,

D

Hehe funny thing is I am planning a move west soon actually. Heading to Montana actually. Been in Mass for 40 years and I want a change. It helps that there isn't much here for me anymore either.

Ido miss the old time arcades though. Spent most of my childhood in one. Back when you do it safely too. :-( Oh well. Perhaps I will visit NH before I go out west just to get some quality arcade time ;-)

@Agra: Go crossbow hunting! =D

I wonder what the RAP bonuses are on this baby: http://www.excaliburcrossbow.c…..ossbow_kit

Also, I wonder if you have played any 90's arcade games? I personally love Cadillacs & Dinosaurs. First time a game introduced me to reading an indie comic.

@Darrwyn and other Screaming Bees members: I recently submitted an application to your guild…lol. Complete with shameless plug about my Orc's sexy baldness. icon_wink

rofl we kept trying to approve Gryzor all night last night, your note cracked us up.  Alas, you were not on, so hopefully Anj or Drach will catch you this morning.

Agra,  that is the other state i would absolutely love to live in.  Talk about atmosphere.  Hopefully you won't spoil my dreaming by saying you are moving to the big city.  lol

Nikka,

nope.I am moving to an area known as Cascade. It is south of Great Falls, and north of Helena. Looking to pick up 50-100 acres and build out there. I love the outdoors. Can't really stand they cities for living in. I like the relaxed pace.. I should be there by spring the latest.

I have been looking for areas that have trees, nothing too flat, but not a cliff side either. Something within the transitional zones.  I am looking forward to the change of pace.
