Hi Drach

I grabbed Uhk'loc this morning. I was right, he's definitely a Wolf in Monkey's clothing.

However as I've never used a tenacity pet before, any help on the spec would be greatly appreciated. As I'll use him pretty much for soloing 5 mans only (okay, attempting to) I went with this spec figuring anything to boost stam and generate threat were the logical choices. Any suggesions or corrections ya figure? Thanks A

P.S. Anyone else can chime in as well. Thanky

I love that gorilla, one of my favorite looking ones in the game.

I think what you are going with is great, I have only a few suggestions for tweaking really. Since you are wanting a pure tanking pet, you're right stam, armor and threat generation are what you're wanting. I would take the point from Wild Hunt and throw it over to taunt, to give your pet another threat generator. Also, I'm not sure because I haven't had a gorilla tank in a while, but don't gorillas automatically come with thunderstomp? You may check that, if so that's a wasted talent point you could throw somewhere else too, and maybe leave your point in Wild Hunt, but I would check first. I remember that was the big plus about having a gorilla a while back, they were the only tank pets that had it for a while.

Other than that though, grats on the tame and the build looks pretty good to me man icon_smile!

Actually gorillas come with the ability http://www.wowhead.com/spell=26090 now. You have to spec them for thunderstomp like the other tanking pets.

Takaas is correct about thunderstomp, I think it was Blizz evening all tenacity pets out or something. The monkey is at 84 now and taunt seems logical. I skipped it originally given the long cooldown but it could be huge in a bind. I think I'll drop the point in silverback ( if he needs that 1% I'm not doing my thing) and grab taunt and either charge or spiked collar-both could generate some extra threat.

Thanks much!

Here is my tanking pet. I've taken on lots of stuff with him and he never fails me. http://us.battle.net/wow/en/ch…..t#10952668
