Downing Xariona - General Hunter Discussion - Hunter Forums

I first saw Xariona at around 6:30PM, didn't mind him but joined a 10-man group two hours later (debunked rumors that Xariona despawns after several minutes). We had two wipes. The first one had Xariona at 14% because we didn't know the fight. The second one was because of the spell Unchained Magic. The fight went on for a while — Xariona had about 3 million health – "like a target dummy" said the tank

The group had  2 mages, 2 hunters, 2 mages, 1 warrior, 1 pally, 1 warlock, 1 druid, and 1 shaman (awesome tank and healers!). I didn't win Xariona's Spectral Claws but I was top dps: 13K on BM with Karoma.

Overall a fun thing to do for those of us bored questing and camping (for Aeonaxx) at Deepholm!

Thanks imoen. We were actually talking about the upgrade in-between fights. We were hoping that if you have the claws,  the item will change to the gauntlet — something like what happens with pets which change skins after a patch.
