Hi

I've made a few posts now and thought it best that I introduce myself properly to the Hunters Lodge community.

I've been playing wow since vanilla and have always played as a hunter (well, I did try a warrior first, but gave up after reaching level 31, having spent all my gold on white items from vendors and spreading my talent points evenly between the three trees – but thats another story!).

I attained level 60 just as TBC hit, so didn't get to raid any of the vanilla content, but saw action in Kara, Sunwell, etc etc.

In Wotlk I raided everything….. on Thunderhorn-EU I was in one of the top Horde guildes (Corruptions).

In Cata I finally got raid burnout and dropped from the team just before Firelands.

I'd always dabbled in PvP but thought I'd focus on that – after investing so much so much time in the game, I didn't want to simply quit and see all that hard work/played hours go down the drain.

Initially I was a female tauren called Heffer, but I've gone through a few realm/faction/races changes and the latest itteration is Disengage, a female draenie (still don't know how to spell it) on Arathor-EU.

I decided on dra, drea, drena, oh sod it you know what I mean, due to the heal; I prefer that over the free human trinket.

This is me http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/ch…..age/simple

And I use Spunkle, my spirit beast, to bg's and arena.

Comments, questions, friendly banter all welcome.

Cheers

Dis.

Forgot to add…

I use the following addons for PvP:

Gladius (use this for easier targeting in arena)

GladiatorLoSsa (nice little voice telling me what the enemy has just done e.g. cloak of shadows – arena and bg's)

Battlegroundtragets (nice being able to tell the group how many healers/tanks the opposing team have and who to focus).

I use a few macros, most of which Gar has covered in his guides, but with the odd variation here and there.

Lastly, I'm a clicker, but still feel that I'm very competative in pvp

My 2v2 and 3v3 wouldnt suggest this, but thats due to 1. 2v2 just being used to group with randoms for the cp cap and 2. I generally play during the day when everyone else in the EU plays in the evenings, so it's hard to get a commited team together.

Welcome Disengaged. Always good to see another PvP Hunter around here.

I'm a clicker as well. Get lots of comments about it too but its how I play.

Hi and welcome to the joint Disengaged-sorry to hear about your engagement falling through, probably for the best though. Given you and Tak and the Ozmeister speak about 'clicking' please elaborate. Judging from your arena I'd like more information as frankly, I'm out of fingers for keybinds.

Not knowing you aren't supposed to be able to achieve something often ensures that you will.   Book of Agio 22:2

I only use my keyboard for movement and jumping. I click on the buttons in-game to use my abilities/etc. I have no keybinds and such. Everything is click to perform.

It is said that keybinding and using your mouse for movement gives you a better response time on things. While it may be that way, it gives me a headache just trying to memorize every keybind you would need. I just "chill" and play it the way I am most comfortable with.
