What is this topic you say? Well. I've recently been invited to the cataclysm beta and have a fully-geared level icon_eek night elf premade sitting there waiting for instructions and requests! So…

I got a lot of questions, gonna rattle a few off…  what is aspect of the Fox about anyway? I've heard good things, but I haven't heard exactly what it does…  Also, Garwulf was saying that Armor Pen was going to be dropped from armor, and become a specialization talent… was curious about that as well.  I was also curious if Hunters were going to pick up any new talents or shots…  One of the things Im kind of excited about is that Aimed shot is going to go back to a high damage shot, I miss that.  Anyway I could keep going but I'll stop myself. Thanks.

Kinda curious still about our focus regen… will we stay the awesome hunter of wotlk where we can pwn on the move wihtout steadys ( i mean in pvp then)? i know we will be fine eventually in pve since we can fire off steady's easily but pvp is a big concern of mine. hope focus regen will be a bit better worked out.

 

im also curious about if they implement the pets correctly what new cool pets will there be??

 

on the other hand just as gar said keep us up to date and congratz with your invite to cata have fun there icon_wink

As someone pointed out, the CC immunity is no longer in the tooltip for The Beast Within. I'm really curious to see if that's just an oversight or if they did remove the immunity from the hunter's enrage.

what you serieus?? thats one of the most imba abilities bm hunters hafe in arena and bg that sux if they took it away

Well, lots of questions! Hehe icon_razz

Aspect of the fox allows you to cast auto-shot while on the move, it also increases focus regen by 26%!!!

 

AP has been diluted into things like haste, crit and expertise don't worry, it'll all be good! May even turn into mastery… but that's not implemented yet icon_smile

 

About new shots… there's http://cata.wowhead.com/spell=82654 – Widow Venom. but there are a few spell changes here and there, check them out at WoWhead =)

 

Haven't seen any new spirit beasts yet, but there are tons of new beasts! Too many to list, but there are things like spikey crabs, the mastiff and the ghost saber is still in-game! Again, WoWhead is great for beasts icon_smile

Something I did notice though… is that the saber statues spawn allot less – there's very few of them and then also the actual sabers spawn allot less icon_smile

 

Like noted above, aspect of the fox has epic regen and you can run while doing auto-shot! I think it'll be something epic for the BG! Haven't actually seen any 'OMFG BEAST' things at the moment, but when I do I'll screen it. Something funny was the little core hound pup… you can tame them! Haha! 

 

Yeah, CC immunity completely removed. Damned annoying!

That is horrible.

I really hope they intend on adding that back in again, or else BM is going to be officially in the coffin as a PvP spec.
