Bestial Wrath Glitch - General Hunter Discussion - Hunter Forums

So the other night I thought "hey, not used Loque in ages, lets get the old fella out of the stables and let him stretch his legs in Nexus"

Imagine my surprise, when he was… well… massive… and red… almost like I had fired up Bestial Wrath

Imagine my surprise when he was still massive and red 11 seconds later…

Curious as to WTF was going on, I inspected my old swirly buddy and came across something rather surprising:

Gosh, that's a bit strange!

Yes, my little playmate had glitched somehow and was now a demi-god!

Suffice to say, my DPS went through the roof, although The Beast Within was not in effect, the extra 50% DPS all the time was doing wonders for my DPS!

Sadly though, this tale is not all happy, he was doing that much DPS he pulled aggro and was insta-gibbed by 3 lvl Elites in Nexus, even with Improved Cower, and upon ressing him, he had lost his glitched buff.

I have no idea how it happened, although I think it might have something to do with the nerf to Bestial Wrath and him being put in the stables while enraged (I was seeing if you could change pets with the buff up and if it applied to the next pet)

I think the action of putting him into Bestial Wrath then stabling him, combined with the nerf to Bestial Wrath broke something. I cannot get the glitch to happen again (probably for the best, I don't want a ban) but it was fun while it lasted!

Anyone else have any similar glitch stories?

Thinking about it now, yeah that should have been the first thing I did, but would probably cause some complaints for "unfair exploitation of gaming mechanics" or something.
