Altairus strat? - General Hunter Discussion - Hunter Forums

I searched the forums for "altairus" and found no posts.  Surprising, since that seems to be the most difficult 5-man heroic encounter for hunters.  I've tried staying at modest range from the boss but invariably I find that half the encounter I can't get to the upwind side of him and keep range.  And in a desperate attempt to do so, I'll run into a cyclone.  Then I tried to melee, that's just is an embarassment in dps!  Now, I've read that if I stay on the steps with aspect of the fox and just run side to side along the steps for the wind buff, that's the correct hunter strat.  Any experience or tips for this fight would be welcome … this boss and the next have drops I need … lol.
