I don't know how many of you are mount collectors on here, but come Cataclysm it looks like the Swife Zulian Tiger, Swift Razzashi Raptor and Baron Rivendare's Deathcharger will no longer be available. Zul'gurub is being removed as an instance, which eliminates the tiger and raptor. Rivendare is being removed from Stratholme, which eliminates his horse. I have none of these mounts on this character, but was lucky enough to get the tiger on my Paladin. This news will make me treasure that mount all the more.

I've been attempting to get the raptor on this character, but have had no luck thus far. It can be soloed as a properly geared BM Hunter.

Thank you for this.  I am sorry to hear about the Deathcharger; that is such a neat mount.  I would love to get the tiger, not so fond of the raptor.  Any tips on soloing these guys?

Well that explains a lot. Last night I was questing with my FAF's ("Fail A Friend" I like to call her) alt when she just bounced on me. Two minutes later she logs back in with her icon_eek Mage and invites me to join a Raid. I was kinda excited, it would have been my first. Anyway, it appears I was just a virtual warm body for her to get inside. After seeing her die like 7 times I asked if I could help and she just laughed at me said "You'll die". Gee, thanks! Anyway, this morning I googled where I saw her and sure enough it was Zul'gurub.

 

Niika, there are couple vids on Youtube of varying classes successfully soloing the instance. Here's one of a hunter.
