Willing to trade multi shot.  How I miss volley when farming.

Lvl 83 bats in Deepholm, they're no problem, but be so much faster with Volley.

I miss my volley at times but have finally got steady shot working for me and it's no longer turning me into the agro junkie.  I have it 3rd in my rotation so the tank has had plenty of time to build threat and my pet is also in the middle of the mob keeping the attention off me.

I do have a question on it though – when I fire multi-shot it procs Serpent Sting to be active.   Does it do this for anyone else or am I just not noticing that I've fired a serpent sting before multi.  I never think to pay attention to it until I have logged off for the night.

Never really paid attention to it, but I will.  In Deepholm there are mobs of bats, about 10 to a group, only have about 5k health, and when you aggro one, you aggro all of them.  I'm able to farm about 120 savage leather, a few bloated stomachs, and even the occasional pristine hide in about 30 mins on these.  That's why I miss my volley with these.

To lvl my pets, I'm going to Obsidian Forest in Twlight Highlands, and killing the dragonkin.  Great place to lvl pets if you skin too.  In a little over 30 mins I got 27 leathers, 22 blackened dragonscales, 22 dragon flanks, and two bloated stomachs.  All the mobs are 85 so your pet gets the max exp.

Typically a good idea to read talent descriptions, Abby icon_razz

Serpent Spread
Rank 2

Targets hit by your Multi-Shot are also afflicted by your Serpent Sting equal to 9 sec of its total duration.

I was about to ask the same thing Indomitus!

Crimz, i mean your pet.  are you bringing a stomper with you?  I can't check your armory.  I'd bring a tank pet with a decent aoe stomp, and toss in a frost trap into the midst if you are pulling everything before lobbing multis

I've been using mostly my ferocity pets, and just which ever one I'm lvling at the time.  These things fly around, and they are fast, the best way I've found to hit them is multi shot to tag all of them, and then just keep using kill command.  But really these guys are no problem, I was just being facetious, however it would go a lot faster with volley, or any AoE that wasn't ranged.  Is that the new armory, I don't like it as well.
