Recently a fellow MM Hunter asked me about why his bow seemed to go "yellow" sooner then other Hunter specs. I repair so often that I never really noticed it myself. So I looked into it.

Weapons in general take durability damage faster then other gear. Looking further into it I discovered that the MM "Wild Quiver" talent is causing MM ranged weapon to take damage even faster then other Hunter specs. I wasn't able to find any official stuff about it, but enough people have posted about it that I believe it to be a possible bug that will hopefully be fixed.

Happened during wrath too when Wild Quiver was a talent, also the proc on Zods made it eat up durability even faster.

 

Soooo yeah, don't count on it getting fixed any time soon.

I have to keep a backup bow in my bags because i'm notorious for letting my bow break *hides in same*

I always keep a backup. Though I don't have the same problem in PvP, it was happening regularly in ZA/ZG with all the fail groups wiping.
