I'm a little confused here.

It used to be that I could use Disengage to close a gap during combat by jumping, turning around in midair and then hitting it, causing me to leap toward my target and not away from it. But now, what happens is that I jump, turn around facing away from my target, hit Disengage–and my toon suddenly flies AWAY from where my target is, widening the gap even more.

I then ran a few tests on DPS dummies, attacking them with auto-shoot and then attempting my Jump-Disengage aiming several times. Strangely enough, it worked fine. I wonder if latency has anything to do with this phenomenon?

EDIT: The phenomenon occurs during Battlegrounds, where I often attempt it to escape from a melee that opened up from behind me without losing my bead on my current target.

This is one of those that I may have to see duplicated before I could make any helpful comments or suggestions >.< I'll see if I can experiment with it a little tonight and report back.

Do you usually have latency problems?

Sometimes, yes, but only when my antivirus decides it wants to update at the wrongest time possible, or my modem sputters (which is rare). Even then, though, that's only about 10% of the time, and my usual latency runs somewhere between 250-400ms for both World and Local.
