Discrepancy in Hit Ratings

Can someone explain why the stat numbers on my WOW in-game character info page are different than my numbers on the spreadsheet at Femaledwarf.com are different? Which should I be paying more attention too?

Also, with the Hit Cap now being in the 900's, is 8% hit chance still my goal or has that number changed too?

Thank you, Taz

I can't tell you why there is a difference for you now, they may be updating femaledwarf, I'd focus on what your in-game sheet is telling you for now though. Yea 8% still seems to be what to aim for, which I'm having to reforge quite a bit lately just to get to the cap it seems. Every new gear that I pick up that has awesome dps stats never has decent hit rating, but that's what reforging is for I suppose!

As Drach said, I believe femaledwarf is still tweaking things there. Warcraft Hunters Union says that current hit rating to go for is 961.

Thanks guys, currently on my character page im at 8.78% hit chance. Unfortunately it doesnt give an exact "hit number".  Is this where I want to be? I can always shave off a few hit points by reforging into mastery to bring it down to 8%.

Yea, that seems right, it should give you a number based on the %, but be looking at the drop down where it tells you your liklihood of missing for the lvl of the target, for instance, I say 8% because for me it seems when I hit that, I have a 0.00% chance of missing the boss targets at my level, does that make sense? When you mouseover your hit rating it should pop out with a little chart saying your liklihood of missing according to level of the mob you're attacking.

And yea, I say as far as reforging goes, I'd dump extra into mastery.
