Hello

Like many people that post here I was wondering if I could have someone take a look and see why in the world my dps can't get higher than 17k. The Toons name is Verminator and I am on Spinebreaker.

My Rotation Normaly is

1. Serpent Sting

2. Chimera Shot

3. 3 Steady Shots

4. If Chimera hasn't cded then I throwin Arcane shots and then a few steady

5. Then go back to Chimera to Refersh

Can someone let me know what I coujld be doing different.

17K is pretty decent. What is this from, heroics or raids?

Just taking a quick look at your gear, and I notice that your gemming for the slot, and not for agility. You are too heavy on the crit/hit gems. You can use reforging to move some of the Mastery into stuff like crit and hit, and use your gemming to really affect your agility. I see that you are a JC'er and you don't have any jeweler gems too. Should you be in my guild, I would be putting you into the corner with a whittlestick until you came out all sparkly and bright.

Also be sure to maximize your enchants. Looks like you have spent a doggone amount of effort working on your gear; those items deserve the top level enchants.

Also be aware that the right glyphs can make or break a dps situation. Have a couple on hand to swap out, and see how your dps improves. I also noticed I had a huge difference last night when i went from cat to wolf, and suffered a 500pt dps loss. I had another 500pt loss when the new bow dropped; unscoped, i suffered another 400 pt loss as well.

Um from looking at ur toon u should be able to do atleast 20k +.

U should incorporate more delicate inferno rubies, where the glinting demonseyes are, and cut down on the deadly ember topaz's.

And ur rotation isnt bad, you should start out with serpent sting, but then right after cast a aimed shot, cast steady shots in pairs not in triplets, and cast chimera shot whenever its not on cooldown. Also use arcane shot if u have an access amount of focus, > icon_eek .

So ur rotation should look like Serpent Sting, Aimed shot, Steady shot x2, chimera, steady shot x2, and so on. With rapid fire/ call of the wild, hard cast aimed shot/steady shot for focus regeneration.

and thats pretty much it in terms of rotation and gemming, MAX OUT YOUR ENCHANTS FOR AGILITY icon_biggrin , that will help u more than any other enchant.

And thats pretty much it, take my and every1s above me advice and ull definitely max out ur dps.
