During my Call to Arms crusade last night in WSG, I came across one of the most insulting and caustic individuals I've ever had the displeasure of playing alongside. Normally I don't bother with trying to reason with these idiots, but when I've had a few adult beverages I'm usually more inclined to try and influence them to play nice.
I reserved comment during the first BG in which I was teamed with him, but when my next WSG popped and I saw him back again, I was prepared to let him know that his attitude was totally unacceptable.
Wouldn't you know… before we even left the hold he was going full force with his foul-mouthed insults and other malicious nonsense. Rather than call him out in BG chat, I sent him a tell asking that he tone it down and not be such an asshat – I was fed up. As expected, he fired back at me with some idiotic remarks and continued to whisper me, and ride the rest of the team the entire game.
We won both of those games 3-0 btw.
I know why people behave in this manner; it's due to the fact that they can hide behind an avatar and there are no consequences as a result of their foul behavior. However, I just don't understand why people feel the need to be such jerks, especially in the context of a game that we all play to have "fun".
Anyway, I decided that this guy would be the perfect choice for kicking off this new thread idea I had… it's called,
KILL ON SIGHT
Attention Vengeance Horde
If you encounter a female human priest named,
do your best to keep her acquainted with the spirit healer.
This guy is easily amongst the top 10 most rude, crude and socially unacceptable players I've ever encountered during my WoW tenure.
Any other players out there that my fellow hunters recommend we kill on sight?

My partner is hilarious in situations like this. You can usually spot these guys right at the beginning of a run. He pipes up "OK… now who's going to be the one to spout obscenities, insult everyone, tell us what to do, make a ton of typos, and look like a fool for this bg?" lol I have yet to be in a BG where he says that and someone freaks out after the fact. It illicits a ton of laughs too, and usually a few chuckle heads offering to Be That One.
Seriously, Gar, I'm with you. We pay $15 a month to have fun. Not to be insulted by someone with a wedgie.

I usually just put them on ignore. If all they can do is run their mouth like that, they dont have anything useful that I need to hear anyways.

We see way too many players of this kind these days… I generally passively throughout the game correct them, until it actually begins to annoy them and they become the agitated one. Works for me.

I absolutely love this idea and will add to this list in a big way. I've come across so many of these asswipes that I have macros with appropriate quotes to either shut them up or drive them into a drooling frenzy. I'm on Vindication BG and we have our fair share of idiots.
How is Vengeance btw? Horde kind of stinks on Vindication
