Exclamation point ensures that it will default to enable aspect instead of toggle.

Hope this helps.

The jump in stats from Deadly to Furious is pretty good. If you have a decent team though, I'd work on replacing all of your stuff with Relentless. As long as you're earning points each week, there's no sense in going for any gear pcs before S7. Your first upgrade should be deadly to relentless chest.

After that, I'd look to your off-set pieces. If you have any item slots that would benefit from the added health and resilience, go for replacements there.

I try to maintain at least 1K resilience, with a mix of PvP and PvE gear. I equip whatever combination gives me the most bang for the buck.

I think the four most important things to keep in mind when gearing for PvP (as a Beast Master)...

- 5%-6% hit chance
- 1K resilience minimum
- Titanium weapon chain
- PvP trinket

Once those needs are met, just start working on buffing your damage.

I always go for my armor first, because I tend to go with what helps me right now. PvE weapons are fine for arena, so I typically wait until after I've got my armor buffed before I start thinking about new weps.

Gar quick question. If you were just starting out arenas and had mostly furious with the exception of your chest which is still deadly.....what is your first priority as far as arena gear goes? Should I work on a my Relentless set...then work on weapons and such?

I've gotten quite a lot of experience at it lately, my guild got Orb Whisperer 25-man this week, so clearly hunters are a more than adequate choice. As a side note if available a Disc Priest is an excellent choice for a Keleseth healer, as you have the greatest chance of being hit by a life-ending blow, an extra 8-9k effective hp from PW:S is a great help.

I use a Gamepad, cant remember exactly which one, but its a 15 button pad for your left hand with additional arrow key buttons, and a "vent" key, and a scroll.

I bound my normal WASD, cant live without it, but S and D are strafe keys. `, Q, E, R, F, Z, X and C are my main abilities, all with more buttons added with shift, plus left arrow/right arrow/up arrow/down arrow bound to some CDs and stuff like disengage.

If I remember, I go:
` Volley
Q Aimed Shot
E Arcane Shot
F Steady Shot
R Kill Shot
C Viper Sting
X Tranq Shot
S-Q Masters Call
S-E Flare
S-F Intimidation
S-R Kill Command
S-C Serpent Sting
S-X Scorpid Sting
Left Rapid Fire(really just a placeholder)
Right Freezing Trap
Down Disengage
Up Insignia
S-Left Hunters Mark

Rest either I cant remember, or is unimportant because I click it mainly. I'm BM of course :P

Right now, I feel trueshot is fine. Its a simple aur increase at one talent point, while blood DKs and enh shamans need to spend 2/3 talent points, and It won't be on the entire fight no matter what. However, in 3.3.3, they will simply be a passive aura like ours, and thus makes trueshot aura just a less desirable talent, especially if you will always be raiding with an enh shaman or blood dk. However, it's not good to rely on the fact your raid will have one, because PUGs aren't gauranteed to have those classes. It would be nice to see a little self buff like 5-10% more RAP, but they would have to nerf another aspect of our mm tree so it balances out enough.

I love spirit bond honestly, acually being one of the reasons I'm BM. In BGs where there are no healers (unfortunately) and I'm using my Jormungar appropriately named Dreadscale, I can do top healing, with only affliction locks above me sometimes. In SotA this evening, I had 200k~ healing and I only casted mend pet a few times when I had to rez my pet. Pesky horde focused my worm :(

This is a great article Solaryn. We just downed Blood Princes last week in 25 man, but our 10 man has struggled on our few attempts. This post will no doubt help me, should I be asked to tank him one of these nights. I had a few attempts in 10 man last week, but I think half of us could have used a better crash course on the fight mechanics. Very helpful post. Nice work.

I was just playing around with some macros after adding the ones I wanted from this page, (Very helpful by the way) and came across one that I think a lot of hunters could use. Mind you this only works with specific pets. (In my case a crab, which is very popular anyway)

/use Medallion of the Alliance (or 13/14, any applicable trinket)
/cast Deterrence
/cast Pin
/use Runic Healing Potion

This is terrific when facing a rogue. If you can't target the rogue quickly enough, this is basically a get out of jail free card. As soon as they open on you, you will trinket their stun, use a pot to get your lost health back, your crab (in this case) will root the rogue, and you will be immune to damage. The only thing you need to be aware of is your back facing the rogue. A simple mouse turn of 180 degrees the instant you use it will get you facing the rogue so deterrence is effective. Then you have a few seconds to either disengage, lay a couple traps, etc, whatever you need to do to prepare for the fight. If the rogue vanishes, at least you know he has burned his vanish, (and CoS also if you mark him or sting him) and now you have a chance to drop a flare and are aware of his presence.
