Im a bm hunter and it took a couple tries to tame due to his fear and strong tail attacks that launch you, both of these cancel taming. On my four try i got very lucky because he didnt use fear and I got him with less then 1k health left, so lucky . Good luck totally worth it. ps make sure u have alot of health or alot of buffs I was flying around scholzar when my npc scan went of for King Krush.
